Lunch in The Green House
A couple of weeks now (I know...me and timing on this blog!) I met up with Rosie in Richmond for a little catch up, walk by the river and well deserved lunch at Petersham Nurseries. They were on my 'to visit' list for literally YEARS, and they didn't disapoint...
First of all, Richmond in Autumn is something out of a dream. The colours!! Also being that south of London makes me feel like I'm pretty much in the countryside.. Look at this guy up there! If Rosie hadn't stopped me from being electrocuted on that fence I'd probably would have gone in to play with him.
I'm obsessed with this new tunic/dress I got recently from the Lookbook Store, it's perfect for a twirling around, with leggings, jeans, perhaps bare legs in the warmer months. I love wearing different shapes, and mixing heights with different layers..
We had the nicest afternoon, chatting away walking through the beautiful green houses. Made me want to start gardening.. Lunch was delicious! The menu changes all the times, with fresh and local ingredients, but they always, always have cake and if you spot a spongey chocolate one (I think it was actually dairy and gluten free!) have a slice for me please?
I can't wait to go back already, perhaps for breakfast this time followed by a walk through Richmond park to visit the deers. Gosh I love London!
I'm currently packing a weekend bag as we're off to a Halloween party in the countryside.. you just wait until you see my costume - I'm a little petrified to wear it (because it looks so ridiculous) but isn't Halloween the best time to make fun of yourself ..?!
