Today us girls escaped to the mountains for a little skiing. Monday is the best day to go skiing around this time of the year as there's literally no one on the slopes.

You don't queue anywhere, you can sing your heart out in the cable cars or on top of the mountain, you have access to hot chocolate & Nutella crepes in a matter of minutes, it's pretty cool if you ask me. We thought we'd enjoy this beautiful sunshine in the snow before we fly over to the UK for Christmas.

We managed to drag Lizzie along with us, she hates skiing. Hate might be a strong word, but let's say she highly dislikes it. She's pretty good at it though, but she has this irrational fear of people bumping into her from behind, she is petrified every time she hears the slight noise coming from behind, so there was a lot of motivational singing going on & a congratulatory Nutella waffle to end with.

We had a lot of fun, I almost skied into a tree when mum took me hors piste, but all is good, I won when we raced on the last slope... I'm now completely exhausted, there's a bubble bath waiting with my name on it. I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
