Yöli & Otis in Canggu, Bali
We have been back from our beautiful trip to Bali & Lombok a few weeks ago, and I still catch myself daydreaming about it on a daily basis.. I miss the heat, the coconuts and the beautiful clear waters, the jungle waterfalls, the beautiful food.. and the kindest people!
We stayed in Canggu for the first 5 days, which used to be a sleepy surfer town, and in the recent years has grown to be more and more popular, with beautiful restaurants, and cafes, as well as amazing independent boutiques like Yoli & Otis!
I have been following Lena’s beautiful brand on Instagram for years! I fell in love with her clean, fresh aesthetic, the way she saw the world and the magic behind every single piece she created! (if I could make up my wardrobe from one brand alone, I’d choose Yoli & Otis, hands down..!)
So when I realised they had one of their shops in Canggu, Bali.. it came high up on our list of things to do and see in Canggu!
So off on our scooter we went, post breakfast of course (more details on food and accommodation hopefully very soon.. I need to gather it all in one post! I am currently catching up on all the coursework I’ve been behind on and it’s taking MUCH longer than I thought between actual work..!)
We arrived at this little piece of heaven on one of the main streets in Canggu, shoes off at the door….
Every single piece in there is thought through.. look at that beautiful wooden table! and that amazing plant! I’d love for Lena to design a house for us haha and fill it with all her beautiful pieces!
They make the most amazing children’s clothes, if you have babies and older kiddos, be ready to want every single thing!
The most amazing textures, linens, cottons, and cuts and colours! Earthy, elegant and feminine.
If you love beautiful things, and aesthetically pleasing things & places this is a must! They also have a shop in Australia.. which I’ll get to one day!
One of my goals in life is to surround myself with beauty, and only the things, and people that make me happy, bring me energy and inspire me. I don’t think I’ll ever be a full on minimalist, but in the recent years I have learned to let go of a lot, to only purchase the essentials, and when I do purchase consciously, quality pieces, that are good for you, your health and the planet.
Shopping second hand as much as I can, and recycling, donating, repairing the rest. Taking care of the things I love so they last longer. I purge the house every few months, of anything that have entered it that doesn’t serve a purpose.. and this is something that oozes out of Lena’s beautiful world. She inspires me in so many ways, and I hope she inspires you too!
