Oh I can't even remember the last time I logged into this space of mine... I woke up this morning feeling like enough is enough - I need to write things down, even if it's just a few words. I also need to give all these photos stuck on my phone a little space to breathe.. and because you need to see my (muddy) horse having a good ol' laugh.

I went home a couple of weeks ago for my maman's birthday, it was so great being with her on her special day. It had been YEARS - I made her a lemon meringue tart and we cheered in the sunshine, then we whisked her off on top of a mountain for a little skiing!

While I was there I caught up with my friend Lola and her new baby!! We're obviously bffs and already in matching outfits...

We saw the snow for the first time in WAY too long...! I always think I completely forgot how to ski but after one run I'm always back to being a total professional - not - I didn't fall though and went down a couple of black runs so...I guess that's a win. 

We got matching Polaroid sunglasses - because we're cool like that...

*insert heart eyes emoji*

Not much makes me happier than getting up at home on a sunny day, opening the shutters and seeing these two (above) waiting for me by the fence and this fluff ball (below) purring in my bed.

Going home is good for the soul!
