Topless Cherries

Yesterday morning we woke up (relatively) early, hopped in the car and drove up in the mountains to our friend's house to enjoy her wonderful cherry tree. She is away at the moment, so the tree was literally crawling under it's own weight of cherries. We ate a lot of them, it was 'breakfast' you see, but we managed to pick a few bags, and there's still at least 10 more buckets to fill! When we got back home the sun was already scorching, so we jumped into our bikinis (bottoms - we wouldn't be half French if no topless was involved right...?!) We spent the afternoon altering between naps, swims and burning hot reading sessions. When the sun started going down we all sat around the kitchen table to make a few cherry clafoutis (recipe coming soon)!
