At Annabel's

After a long but fun road trip involving a LOT of singing, laughing and chocolate - we finally arrived at my aunt's house in Suffolk near the seaside. I absolutely love this place, their house has got SO much character and history, it's a dream! We were welcomed with a glass of fresh white wine and the smell of fish pie coming from the Aga (which was definitely the best fish pie I've ever had... mine comes close second of course!)

I woke up before the girls, breakfast was all set on the kitchen table, the sun shining through the open french doors, it wasn't long until 4 sleepy eyes came down the stairs to join me and my cup of tea. We were ready to enjoy a beautiful day in the sun, armed with our sunglasses and a few layers of sun lotion. When everyone was ready (it took a while..) we went on a mission to find fresh asparagus for lunch and decided a long walk on the beach was needed, but more about that tomorrow...
