A walk through the Pine Woods

My cousin and her two adorable kids came over for lunch today. It was a little bit chilly but the sun was out, so we decided a walk through the woods would be the perfect way to spend the afternoon.

The colours and the light were unbelievable. I couldn't stop taking pictures..(I'm such a shutterbug - it's a serious condition) I even took my film camera along, but these will be for another day.
When we came back home the sun was down, our hands were getting cold, so we quickly ran back inside by the fire, made a pot of tea and a stack of pancakes (with a LOT of Nutella).
Today was good.
