Little scenes from this weekend

We spent the weekend by the fire, going on occasional walks in the rain. Hector came along with his bright red raincoat. Dad cooked us a wonderfully delicious coq au vin, sometimes I wonder if he's actually british... Lizzie and I baked a spiced apple and pear cake (recipe to come soon!) We are about to have our daily spiced hot chocolate. Everything around here is spiced.. in case you didn't notice. We like to go with the season.
