It's so hot I'm melting

This photo was taken just before half of my face melted. It's over 40º C here. You have to stay inside or under water from 12 am to 4pm, or you might melt and disappear. It's hard to breathe, move, eat sleep. Seriously.

Cats, dogs and horses are trying to hide from the heat, sleeping somewhere in the shade or in the coolest corner of the house.

While the parents are away and the rest of the family are visiting a medieval town somewhere hot, Melonie (my cousin) and I decided that we'd rather stay in, watch a film, eat the rest of the banana muffins and swim once in a while to cool us down. I think we made the right decision.
