Blog has a new style, while I'm in bed organizing a 21st birthday party.

Sorry if my layout is slightly confusing at times, the blog has been a work in progress for a little while, but I'm starting to feel like this is the one. I hope you like it?

I have been in bed ever since I came back from campus. Long day, too many hours in the library, way too cold. But I am now reunited with my lovely bed and I couldn't be happier! 

Tomorrow is my housemate's 21st birthday! We are throwing her a little birthday surprise. Starting with dinner with a few of her close friends, then meeting up with all her other friends in a nice bar for a few drinks, then probably going out after that. She has no idea. She thinks we're only going for drinks with a few friends. I can't wait to see her face when she walks through the door and everyone will be there shouting 'SURPRISE!'.

Inspiration for tomorrow :

We'll start with a nice american/english breakfast, with tea, pancakes, bacon and eggs.

Out dinner table won't be as pretty as this, but we will use bright colours, fresh flowers and a lot of pink.

I am going to bake a Victoria Sponge cake, with a white chocolate frosting! (not exactly like the pictures, but you get the idea..)

For dinner I am going to make one of her favourites things, savoury crêpes. It's french, she loves it! It'll be a lot of carbs tomorrow... pancakes/crêpes/cake. Oh dear... (but it's all her favourite things, that's what birthdays are for! right?)

Maybe some crêpes with sugar, jam or Nutella if we're still hungry!

To finish we will have her favourite cocktail: Mojito!

I am preparing myself for a day of shopping, baking, cooking and decorating tomorrow! I love throwing parties for people, and I love baking more than anything. So i know it'll be fun! And I can't wait to put a nice dress on, bright lipstick and go out with all my best friends!
