The joys of travelling
Picture has nothing to do with the post. (It's Gypsy having a snooze) That's what I'd rather do, instead of carrying bags around.
On sunday I travelled back to England, because term starts today! After an hour in the car, 1 and a half on the plane, 2 hours in a bus (because they were doing work on the railway - so no trains..) and 30 minutes on the tube, I finally arrived at my uncle's flat in London where I stayed the night.
Just one thing about travelling. As a girl, I do have a lot of clothes and certain items I cannot live without (ie. make up, shoes and accessories) Carrying my suitcase around felt like carrying a ton of bricks up and down the stairs, up and down the car, the plane, the bus, the tube... Well my suitcase but also her little friend called hand luggage which was pretty much as heavy. So yes you might say it is a good workout. But I'd rather not sweat like I've run a marathon or look like I've just been drowned. I don't normally go for that kind of look.
Now my body aches like I've actually run a marathon I haven't trained for... and that my friend, when you have to carry your suitcases AGAIN the next day is not even funny. Not in the slightest. Now I feel like I have been hit by a truck.
Personal note: - Hire someone to carry my luggage.
- Invent robot suitcases who can follow you around.
But all this doesn't really matter, because I'M BACK IN MY SWEET LITTLE HOUSE. Reunited with my housemates. And that's all that matters in the end.
