In the Desert, Morocco
Today I've been feeling genuinely cold, all day long. So I tried to mentally travel back to these couple of days I spent in the desert in Morocco a few weeks ago on a work trip. It was hotter than a pizza oven but as a first taster of Morocco, I loved it!
The colours everywhere, the mosaics, the food, the people.. I cannot wait to go back there with Michael, I know he would love it.
I am always amazed by how close everything is when you live in Europe..! After living in Australia for a year, I really truly appreciate living so close to all of these amazing countries and cultures. It just blows my mind. In a short 4 hour flight, you can find yourself in a totally different world. It will never cease to amaze me.
Adding Morocco firmly at the top of my list for future trips. I really want to go to Essaouira and the Atlas Mountains, and actually make it to the Sahara.
In other news, we went to both Wales and Bilbao in the past few weeks, and I still have a LOT of photos to share with you.. stay tuned!
(The desert camp was outside of Marrakech and is called Scarabeo Camp, the rest of the photos are from La Mamounia in Marrakech)
