Une journée à Paris

A few weeks ago I ended up in Paris for the day, it was one of those surreal days when you're not quite sure if you're dreaming or not. I think I was awake... I'm pretty sure.

Paris to me is the complete unknown - everyone assumes that because I'm French, surely I know Paris like the back of my hand (as well as smoke a lot and eat frog's legs at every meal) Flash News : I can count the times I've been to Paris on one hand, I don't smoke and have never eaten a frog.

I've said this before but Europe is just wonderful, you can literally jump on a train at St Pancras around 7AM, end up in Paris by lunch time, eat all the food, shop (look at) all the Chanel and still be able to sleep in your own bed by midnight.

I discovered Hotel Costes which is all kinds of dreamy, said hi to Miss Eiffel, ate all the bread and walked around feeling so nostalgic for everything French. It made me realise how much I miss France. In the past year and a HALF I've only been at home (my parent's house) for 2 small weeks, that's just straight up crazy. I'm planning on going back at the end of the month for a few days and I cannot wait. I'm also thinking a weekend away in Paris is also needed asap... any Airbnb recomendations?!
