Is there anything more freeing than dancing in the rain?

Have you ever danced in the rain? I urge you to. 

If I had listened to myself that day I would have jumped in the water fully clothed.. I guess I'll keep that for another time! We shot these over the weekend, Soph took my photos & I took hers. We had a slightly different vision for these to begin with, but the weather was NOT cooperating - but I love how moody & atmospheric they turned out. It's so good to have a blogger friend who's happy to take your pictures!  (although when I look at them I can't help but think one thing: Tania get some new highlights done ASAP..I was hoping the Australian sun would do its thing but it just doesn't stop raining! ...I bet that makes all of you in the northern hemisphere very happy!)

I've got this new found love for midi skirts - I find them so elegant! Paired with some heels, a touch of lipstick & I feel like I'm back in the 1940s. Didn't you wish you could time travel? I'd love to be able to experience each era for a day or two. Can you imagine trying those wonderful 19th century dresses?! Wearing midi skirts is the next best thing I guess!
