I thought I'd start a little series about my soon to be Sydney Adventure. Life lately has pretty much revolved around it, everything I do, or have to do (there's so much!) is related to this trip, so I thought I'd write a little something about the whole process & adventure just in case you find yourself in the same situation. Of course this will be  a lot about Sydney & Australia, but also about travelling in general, moving to a foreign country & learning along the way. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have, feel free to leave any comments if you have any advice to give!

You guys. I am leaving next week! I mean can you believe it? I feel like I've been talking about it for YEARS & now it's actually happening. I'm in a slight state of panic, but you know...that's normal right?! If any of you come from Sydney or maybe know anyone living in Sydney who's looking for a nice friendly housemate, just let me know will ya'? Because right now I'm pretty much pulling my hair out trying to find something decent.

It's just hard to believe how fast everything happened. I feel like I moved out of London & back to France only a few weeks ago... Right now it's almost time to pack my suitcase......Someone pinch me.

I just want to be there already, so I can figure it all out & finally calm down & enjoy it. Trying to plan a move to a foreign city from across the globe, is not an easy task (especially with the HUGE time difference!). It involves a lot of life admin & you know how much I hate life admin. Letters, appointments, calls, emails, research. Having to sort out an insurance, looking for a job, applying for jobs, praying something will finally come up, desperately looking for a place to live, trying to find other alternatives, reading about the city, about the country, opening a bank account.... My eyes are going square. I want the fun, the sun & the beach already!!

When it all gets too much I just google 'Sydney's most beautiful beaches' & I stop wondering why the hell I'm doing this & I start feeling much better for a minute or two. I'm mostly joking, First world problem really! But going outside of your comfort zone is scary & no one said it was going to be easy, but that's the beauty of it right?
