I’m a day dreamer, I love life & treasure it like nothing else. I’m the weird one always taking pictures, I have blurry eyesight and wear glasses most of the time, I’m addicted to tea & chocolate. My favourite time of the year is Christmas, but summer makes me the happiest, I’m indecisive.
I’ve always been one to journal everything – which is the main reason behind this blog, another reason is that when I was 18, I flew the nest from the South of France to start University in Kent, England. I wanted to share my adventures with friends & family, so I grabbed a camera & started writing.
I still write in my journal when feelings are overflowing.
I love food, picking it, cooking it & eating it. I recently went vegan, for many reasons, including my health, the animals and the environment. You can read more about it here. I’m no city girl, I grew up between the mountains & the fields surrounded by a sea of pets. I have adapted to the city quite well, currently living in East London – my secret is to escape to the nearest park whenever possible and if possible hop on a train to the countryside at every opportunity!
I am a serious wanderluster, travelling & discovering new places brings me immense joy. I love hard, I think that those tummy butterflies are the real deal, French is my first language but english comes close second, but really if I’m being honest my best language is Frenglish. People can never guess where I’m from.
I am a recovered Law graduate, in November 2013 I quit my day job & moved out of London into the countryside at home in the South of France before I took off to Sydney, Australia in January 2014. I came back in January 2015 after a year away living in Sydney and travelling to India & Bali on my way back. I am now living and working in London, planning to call it home for a while…
This blog is about the things I love and the things that inspire me, whatever sparks my curiosity. It’s about my discoveries, the lessons I learn along the way and the numerous adventures I found myself in. I hope it can inspire you too. If anything I hope it inspires you to discover places near and far, to see the beauty in the every day, in the little things, to fully enjoy what life has to offer, to love with all your heart, your hungry heart.

Things I like : books, walking barefoot, candlelit dinner parties, sunrises, lazy mornings in bed, tea time, bright lipstick, chocolate in most of its forms, christmas, fairy lights, the earthy forest smell, summer, picnics, swimming, fresh flowers, horse riding, kitchen dance parties, fashion, feather duvets, fat cats, the golden hour, long naps, love, experimenting in the kitchen, travelling, making new friends, cashmere sweaters, berries.
Things I dislike : creepy crawlies, dishonesty, not being able to teleport, letting people down, jealousy, coriander, bad news, cruelty, confrontations & badly designed websites.
