The Early Bird Catches The Worm

  1. Lizzy says:

Such a lovely post- I feel like i’m (slowly) becoming a more of a morning person. There’s something nice about being an early riser, although I am a bit of a night owl so have to force myself to go to bed earlier. I usually start my day with tea and avocado or peanut butter on toast which I munch on in bed whilst watching YouTube videos, then head for a shower to try and wake myself up and get ready for the day.

I love love love mornings. I am so much more productive during the early hours and feel a sense of achievement from waking up and getting things done 🙂
Also those heart shaped fried eggs are soooo cute, perfect for a valentines breakfast in bed!

Getting the old school alarm clock is a brilliant idea. I hate how obsessive I get over my technology…there’s got to be a better way to start the day than checking up for social media notifications 🙂

It’s so lame, but I put on VH1/MTV music videos to get psyched in the mornings. Listening to really crummy pop music is like my version of caffeine. ginger rooibos tea on cold mornings is another must (:

I plan my outfits for the next day in my head too! It makes the next morning so much less stressful 🙂 These tips were really helpful- I’m not a morning person so will definetly bare this in mind.

I made this recent transition from hating to loving mornings as well! In the past, I’d set my alarm for fifteen minutes before class and literally just up and go, all miserable. Now, I get up a couple of hours beforehand, make coffee slowly while looking through Instagram, maybe put together a breakfast sandwich or something and eat it while going through e-mails. It’s a lot slower, a lot more peaceful, and some very necessary "me time." Definitely so into this now!!

  8. Beautiful! There are so many great things about mornings and I really love them all (as long as I’ve had my 8hrs!)

  9. Alline says:

This is so beautiful and truly touching. I feel like life is just passing so fast sometimes, for constantly being connected to my phone and laptop all the time, work or non work related.
I will follow some of your tips from now on! Thanks for writing this fantastic post. 🙂

It’s that time of the year again when all that matters is CHOCOLATE and HOT CROSS BUNS!!! Now if you can combine the two… then you have a winning combo in my opinion. I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since I last made and shared these (they were in a collab with […]
