See you soon India

  1. Maja Moliere says:

Oh Tania, that’s so cool! Freya’s pics are insane, no?
Funnily enough, I’ll be going back to India in November too! I’ll be working in Deli and Rishikesh with my boyfriend and then we’ll travel on to Sri Lanka after that. I’ve never been to Sri Lanka, but if you have any tips there, I would love to hear em. Especially, surf, yoga and beach related ๐Ÿ˜‰
Maarten (the bf) has been working in India for a while, so I’ll pick his brain and get back to you with some fun tips.
Also, Pondicherry is just beautiful. One of the few cities that are not completely overwhelming ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Tania Joy says:

They are FANTASTIC right?! Oh lucky girl, I really want to go all the way there up north, and go to Nepal too while I’m at it. What does he do for work? Sri Lanka was amazing!! We were there when it was still the war though, so there’s a whole part (north east) that we didn’t get to see and that’s where all the magical beaches are apparently! I’m so bad with names of places but I’ll ask my mum for some must-see. Yes, I am really looking forward to Pondicherry! x

  2. Laura says:

Lucky you! India is amazing. And the food…ahh :))
We stayed for a week in Bangalore for a wedding (and then travelled a bit) and I loved it.
Hope you have an amazing time and I can’t wait to read your travel diary! xx Laura

Oh that horse. Still breaks my heart! Go to Jaipur if you get the chance, it’s awfully pretty ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Tania Joy says:

So heartbreaking, so beautiful. Oh I know Jaipur sounds fantastic, mum went last year.. I don’t think we’ll have time though cos it’s a bit too far from where we’ll be.. but another time. Girl, we have to plan some travelling in a far away land together soon.. like next year (actually we should make that Canada trip happen with Rosie!!) xxxx

  4. India Alexandra says:

Got a little shock seeing " my name" up there !!

I too am longing to return to India , last time I was there was Summer 2008 … Oh my , that’s a long time ago. My father lived in Kerala for a few years actually. My favourite part of India to visit is Rajasthan … Oh wow the amazing forts and fortresses there are out of this world. And it is a complete photographer’s heaven , can’t wait to vicariously visit India via you later this year !!

    • Tania Joy says:

haha well maybe I AM seeing you soon, who knows! (beautiful name btw)
Oh tell me about it I think I last went in 2005 (!!!!) Oh he did?! Where abouts? Yes Rajasthan has been on my list for a while, I guess I’ll have to come back ๐Ÿ˜‰ Oh I am mostly excited about the photos I will take! xx

  5. Danielle says:

So excited for you! Hopefully Freya’s photos + yours will convince me to do the same soon ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Christine says:

Amazing! That’s so exciting! Can’t wait to see your photos and posts from India ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Rekha Monger says:

Its so sad that Bhutanese people (including myself) fail to appreciate India and its beauty and the vastness of this rich country. We are neigbors with India, in fact we share everything with India and yet our people fail to visit India. Maybe we take things for granted.

Since you’ll be in India very soon, you should visit Bhutan too :). Let me know in case you’re interested. Would be happy to take you around :).

Fire me an email at rebicks09@gmail.com in case you’re interested or you can check me out at http://irelatetothat.blogpost.com

  8. India is amazing! Have you done the golden triangle route before? I haven’t been to Kerala before, but it will be on my list for the next time I visit there!

It’s that time of the year again when all that matters is CHOCOLATE and HOT CROSS BUNS!!! Now if you can combine the two… then you have a winning combo in my opinion. I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since I last made and shared these (they were in a collab with […]
