  1. Rachel Phipps says:

I am so excited for you – good luck! xx

  2. Danielle E. Alvarez says:

Wishing you the absolute best as you make this big move! Change is so scary and so exciting. I hope you too are able to experience a bit of the "calm before the storm" I did before my transatlantic move. It makes the boring but necessary admin stuff easier to get done :). Enjoy every last moment with your friends and fam! xo

  3. Antonia U. says:

This is so exciting. I wish I’d be able to move to Australia. I’ve always wanted to live there!! Can’t wait to read all about your adventure. I’m sure you’re going to settle in just fine and have an amazing time. Enjoy the last few days at home!
And I can’t wait to see some pictures of the beach, sun, etc ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Tania Joy says:

Thanks darling Antonia! put it on your bucket list, and make sure you do it one day! Life is too short ๐Ÿ˜‰ x

  4. Setarra Kennedy says:

Hmmm does Australia have a craigslist or something equivalent to that? That’s what I used when making my move to NYC a couple years ago and it was a great base to start from when searching for a place. I can’t wait to read more about your adventures down under and don’t forget to breathe through all the transition!

    • Tania Joy says:

They do! Gumtree..but it’s full of weird people. it’s just a lot of browsing to find a gem! but I’ll get there haha. NYC!!! Lucky girl! I want to move there too… one day! thanks for the reminder…to breathe! x

  5. Ibbs Quinton says:

Wowzers, I can’t believe it’s come round so soon for you! It feels like only yesterday when you mentioned you had plans to jet-set across the world.
Keep thinking positive and it’ll all work out ok, you’ll make it all happen for sure!
    Big love

Hi Tania! I’m so excited for you and your big move! I moved from the US to Japan about 7 years ago (and then the the UAE since) so I know what you’re going through when it comes to prepping for an international move!! Best of luck and I can’t wait to read about your adventures in Sydney! ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Hannah says:

I moved to Sydney recently on a WHV and it was the scariest thing I ever did. The first month or so was really hard and I was sure that I wanted to go home, but these last couple of weeks have changed my opinion so much. I am finally settling in to Sydney life, I’ve made some great Australian friends and I have a job I love, and now I can’t see myself leaving! It’s scary in the days leading up to it, but once you get here all those worries will disappear! Plus if you need someone to meet up with, just let me know! And don’t even get me started on the housing situation! I will possibly be looking for a new place soon and I am dreading it so much! x

    • Tania Joy says:

YOU DID?! that’s exactly what I’m doing..! What job did you get? that’s what everyone is saying, I just can’t wait to get there cos right now it’s just too stressful.. I’d love to meet up! send me a little email so I have your contact! Any tips on the housing situation?? cos right now it’s either crap or super expensive..I think I just wont find anything up until I’m there. It’s impossible to deal with it from this side of the world! x

      • Hannah says:

I was very lucky and got an amazing job working at the Bridge Climb! Ugh don’t I know about things being stressful, right up until my last day in England everything was a massive stress, but, as I know now, it was all worth it! I will send you an email right now, albeit late because I’ve only just seen this, but shush we shall forget that! Yeah looking when you get here is the best idea, but I would try gumtree or I shall keep an eye out for people looking for flatmates for you though! When do you actually get here?? x

  13. Kerri says:

I’m excited for you and to read your adventures! Good luck in everything you have left to do!

  14. claire says:

Good luck with the move! I made the move from London to Sydney almost two years ago and haven’t looked back. It’s a wonderful place.

    • Tania Joy says:

Thanks Claire ๐Ÿ™‚ oh amazing to know! I love London A LOT so there are high expectations.. I have no idea what to expect from Sydney, but so far the beaches are looking insanely good so I can’t wait! x

  15. Rekha Monger says:

Beautiful Pictures…I loved scrolling through it.

Good luck with your move….hoping to hear more of your Sydney adventures.

  16. Deborah says:

Oh dear you will do it I am sure. I can imagine the fear of yours, every time of big changes in my life I feel the same. That I will not go through that I will maybe fail, that it’s too huge to even try and every single time it goes pure great. You will be pure perfect soon.
Also, you are going to Ausie, it’s the bestest country in the whole world. I wish I could do such a move there for a fresh start, but right now I have so many responsibilities here in Greece. Maybe later ๐Ÿ™‚

Waiting for more about Sydney adventures. go go girl! ๐Ÿ˜€

  17. Sorcha M. says:

That sounds so exciting! I’m sure everything will fall into place in the end, it always does, and usually in the best way. Good luck with all the preparations!

It’s that time of the year again when all that matters is CHOCOLATE and HOT CROSS BUNS!!! Now if you can combine the two… then you have a winning combo in my opinion. I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since I last made and shared these (they were in a collab with […]
