The country has my heart

  1. Sarah @ Midnight Rambler says:

The english countryside is absolutely incredible. I can't wait to get back there.

  2. The Style Box says:

This is your grandparents house? Certainly beats my Nan's bungalow! So beautiful! Just looked back through your Christmas posts – bet Christmas is AWESOME here!

  3. nishaantishu says:

This reminds me so much of my Gran's old house, Pendine, in Sussex. She had to sell it when she moved into a home just recently but I spent summers there as a child, running around the massive garden and orchards. Miss that place. I also belong in the country, this city nonsense is too much!

  4. Maja says:

so lovely. i could read there for hours, rain or shine.

  5. Tania says:

I don't know where you are at the moment but it's worth the trip! Especially now in the summer! (although all seasons are my favourite so..) x

  6. Tania says:

haha yes it is! (you should have seen their previous house…) I'm sure your nan's bungalow is also the best! Oh yes Christmas here is definitely my favourite time of the year! All the family reunited, crackling fire in the drawing room, cups of teas around the Aga.. IS IT CHRISTMAS YET?! x

  7. Tania says:

That's so sad! I hope we can kep this house forever, it has been in the familly for centuries now (it was my gran's mother's house.. can I put a double possessive here? #frenchie)I agree this city nonsense is too much to handle, I need peace and quiet and fresh air, and water that doesn't taste like bleach (and has gone through 7 to 8 people I read somewhere?! that's GROSS!) need to see you soon! xxx

  8. Tania says:

If you have a waterproof book then definitely! haha x

  9. Alice says:

Oh wow, this is so beautiful! I'm so jealous that you get to spend time here, I'd absolutely love somewhere like this to escape to! xx

  10. Anna says:

'To me life is sweeter on the countryside" – I couldn't agree more! These pictures are just a dream.

  11. Sophie says:

omg tans. i need to visit kent house badly!!!!!!!!!!

  12. Allie says:

This place really is like something out of a dream! I could frolick in those fields for hours!

  13. The Recordologist says:

beautiful photos! What lens do you use to take pictures?

  14. Niken says:

can i just move in there right now??

  15. Flora Amies says:

What an incredible house. I used to live near Kent, it feels so long ago now!! I would love to live here or spend any kind of time in this house – it looks like the kind of place you could read and think and be really content in. The countryside has my heart too. The city doesn't do it for me at all – it's like too many conversations going on over music that's too loud..!

  16. Teffy Perk says:

Best of both worlds. The big city can be so much fun, but it's so necessary and special to be able to escape to the countryside when needed.

  17. Tania says:

    Thank you! I use a 18-55mm f/3.5 – 5.6 lens 🙂

  18. Tania says:

    I'll ask my grandparents… haha

  19. Tania says:

That's the perfect way to put it. It's way too loud and oppressing. I will definitely live in the country side when I settle down 🙂

  20. Tania says:

Very true! I definitely need my countryside breaks once in a while. I need fresh air and silence, and animals and nature and… haha I'm such a country girl at heart. I love the city but not for very long 🙂

It’s that time of the year again when all that matters is CHOCOLATE and HOT CROSS BUNS!!! Now if you can combine the two… then you have a winning combo in my opinion. I can’t quite believe it’s been a whole year since I last made and shared these (they were in a collab with […]
